Golden Years Home Care Services Receives 2020 Entrepreneur Award from BusinessWest

Golden Years Home Care Services announced today that it has received the 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by BusinessWest, a Western Massachusetts regional business publication. 

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is awarded to local businesses who have not only shown extensive growth in the past year but also highlights the leadership the entrepreneur exhibits. Past recipients have included USA Hauling, Springfield Thunderbirds, Big Y, and many amazing local businesses.

From a business that started from a need of a family member, Cesar Ruiz, Jr. started Golden Years Home Care Service, a dedicated group providing exceptional in-home quality care to their clients. Golden Years provides peace of mind, dignity, and comfort for their clients while in the comfort of their homes. Their highly trained and professional caregivers facilitate the client’s independence, safety, and maintenance of the quality of life.

This award is a proud moment for the Founder. “We have grown by leaps and bounds in terms of our census, not only with our clients, but also with our caregivers; overall, we’re an organization that’s now managing more than 1,000 people, including administrative, caregiver staff, and clients. And the exciting thing,” Cesar Ruiz, Jr., Founder/President said, “is that we’ve only scratched the surface.”

Recently, Golden Years Homecare Services launched Golden Years Behavioral Health Group, to aid our community in the stress of mental health. “Because of the pandemic, we looked at the need of our community and adapted to serve the best way we can,” Ruiz said.
