Golden Years Home Care Services announced today that its Founder, President, and Chief Operating Officer, Cesar Ruiz Jr. has been selected as a 2021 Top 10 Leaders by Hispanic Executive Magazine. In Spanish, these leaders are known as “Lideres.”
The Hispanic Executive Magazine honors Hispanic entrepreneurs, innovators, and visionaries that represent the very best of their fields. All 2021 honorees that were selected, proved themselves throughout their careers and were also excellent leaders throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating their organizations to effect change in their industries and in their communities.
Cesar Ruiz Jr. was in good company amongst the other Top 10 Leaders that were honored. Other notable leaders honored were David Chavez, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Latin America Division, Marathon Petroleum Corporation and Raul Amaya, Head of Business Banking and President for Greater Los Angeles, Bank of America.
Golden Years Home Care Services started from the need of a family. After caring for his own grandmother and father, Ruiz realized that there was room for improvement in the home care space for delivering quality, dependable, and compassionate care. Ruiz is very proud of the quality of caregivers Golden Years has on his team, saying “We are determined to treat every client with the compassion and love he would want for his own family.”
Golden Years Home Care services has grown to a company of approximately 500 employees, a majority of which are bilingual Hispanics themselves, making Golden Years one of the largest employers of Hispanic employees across Massachusetts. Ruiz prides himself on creating a healthy working culture. Employees at Golden Years have more than likely communicated with the company’s founder and leader directly. Ruiz explains, “I’m hands on because I never want to be far removed from the real work that we do.
Golden Years Home Care Services has two sister affiliates that also bring care services to the community. Golden Years Behavioral Health Group was created to aid the community in the stress of mental health. Golden Years Behavior Health Group provides mental services in the home and in traditional office counseling sessions.
Golden Years Staffing was launched in early 2021, to become a trusted partner on which healthcare facilities and organizations can depend on. Golden Years Staffing provides temporary nursing staff to facilities to alleviate staffing shortages, minimize employee burnout, improve organizational productivity and staffing specific healthcare needs.
