Home Health Aids
Home Health Aides (HHA's) fill in the significant gap between patients and other members of the healthcare team - providing quality-of-life care to patients in residential settings, hospice facilities, and Assisted Living Facilities. HHA's gather vital information about patients' conditions, which they document and relay to their supervisors, so their patients can get the care they need when they need it. HHA's are critical members of the medical profession.
Our Home Health Aides help put patients at ease and improve their quality of life. HHA's will check a patient's vital signs, observe their health conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and create and maintain healthcare documents. In addition, our Home Health Aides will provide patients with first aid care, assist with homemaking, or help prepare a meal. These types of services are suitable for individuals who require a much higher degree of assistance due to an injury, disability, or age.
Companion Care
Companion Care Services are a less intensive, nonmedical type of home care. Golden Years' companion care services offer seniors the care, comfort, and support they need to lead an independent, fulfilling life. Our caregivers offer seniors consistent and dependable companion services, giving family members a break from being the only person responsible for a senior's socialization and emotional support.
Veteran Service
As a Veteran and member of the VA, you may be able to receive home care and many other services. Golden Years has been working with the VA for years, and we have taken on many challenging situations. We care about our vets, as many folks at Golden Years are veterans themselves. We supply care and other services that benefit not only our vets but also spouses in many cases.
We are here to help veterans become informed about the many benefits that they are entitled to once they are members of the VA system.
